Hello folks!

It's been a minute since I've visited this little corner of the internet (a year to be exact.) Life has been a bit crazy and hectic over the past year and unfortunately posting here took the back seat to everything else. I have been saying for the past 2 months that I was going to relaunch this space, and I'm finally getting around to it. Thankful for ice/snow days!

I'll try to catch you up on us briefly.

Michael finally graduated with his Ph. D last month!!! ...After seven very long years of school we have all the heart eyes for that statement! He just started a new job working with NASA and we're so proud of him! It's a bit of a commute, but we are not making any plans to move. We love Laurel and our community here and can't imagine leaving it.

I also started a new job recently as the executive director at our local YWCO. Our Y is in a historic building downtown and I'm looking forward to being there. This is in addition to having my bookstore at Southern Antiques and working with Laurel Main Street--but it's all about the same thing...bringing good things to Laurel!

Anne and Liam are both growing like crazy. I often look at Anne and get a glimpse of what teenage years may look like, but honestly I'm super proud of her and how she always steps in to help when I need her. Liam is always looking for fun. He is all boy and loves cars, transformers, superheroes, and his mama.

I'm really excited to be back blogging. This space always brings me a lot of joy and pushes me to learn new things and be creative. I'm already picking up my camera more and hoping to learn to use Lightroom. We'll see how it goes!

Talk more soon!
