The past few months my SIL, Lily, and I have started a new adventure--Trest Baking Co.
We have both dreamed of someday owning a bread bakery and decided to try our hand at it.  We're just baking out of our homes at the moment, but hopefully will be at the Laurel Farmer's Market this summer!

It sure is fun to start something new.  What's going on with you lately?

Today is our sweet Liam's first birthday.  I can't believe a year has passed...isn't time just bizarre?
Since today is a Thursday--which happens to be our busiest day of the week, we celebrated with pancakes before school/work.  Of course, he couldn't care less but I just didn't want the day pass without a little bit of celebration.  (We're having a small party for him next week, so he will be getting a cake :)
He has been such a joy to our family.  He is the happiest, most affectionate baby and I'm thankful he's ours!

The past few weeks I've been so sad that I'm not blogging anymore.  Several months ago, Liam killed my computer screen and I haven't been able to blog regularly since.  I planned to get it fixed, and when I found out how much it would cost I had to decide if it was worth it or if I just needed to replace the whole thing.  Well, that was three months ago, and I haven't done anything yet.

I'm saying all this because I really miss blogging.  This is my favorite way of scrap booking our day to day life.  I love going back to look at all the post over the past 4 years!  Just that fact that I've kept this blog for four years blows my mind...It's probably the most consist thing I've done.

Anyway, I hope to get back to it soon enough.  You know...when my computer is fixed and life stops being so busy--joking, who am i kidding?

Also, my baby boy will be one tomorrow with his big sister turning seven in just a few weeks.  Time is such a weird thing.  I'm holding on to the phrase I heard a friend say, "we're living in a time of long days and short years."  So, so true.

Hope you all are doing well, and hopefully I'll be back sooner rather than later.
