RESTORATION INFLUENCED BUFFET

I mentioned before how our friend and pastor, John, built our doors upstairs...he also built our entertainment cabinet.   I am amazed at what he's doing with repurposed wood.  I am dreaming of this latest piece living in our upstairs...seriously.
The casters and hardware have me a little giddy.
"This piece was once an old farm house from Sandersville, Mississippi built in the 1920's.  I've utilized portions of the front porch, the original weathered siding, and pieces of the structural framework.  The top is made from Cyprus cut from a local sawmill.

I am the largest fan of Briwax, which makes pieces like this come alive with their own unique personality.  And, the steel casters give it the Restoration Hardware influence that continually catches my eye."
The good news is that this piece hasn't sold...yet!  And it's only $900.  You compare that with pieces from restoration hardware and you'll see you're getting a steal let alone the history this one holds.
If you live in our area and are interested in this piece, feel free to contact or email me.  I'm sure it won't be around long!
