PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE COOKIES

On a whim we decided to make peanut butter cookies and on a whim I thought it'd be a good idea to add some cocoa.  And yes, it was good.  It tasted like a Reese's peanut butter cup inside a cookie.
So I thought you might need the recipe.

Ingredients:
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. sifted all purpose flour
3/4 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
*add about 1/4 cup of cocoa powder to the dry ingredients

Cream butter, peanut butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla. Sift remaining dry ingredients then blend into creamed mixture.  Shape into 1 inch balls; roll in granulated sugar and place two inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet.  Criss cross with fork lines, then bake in preheated oven at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.

I'm telling you, they were so yummy and easy!  Hope you enjoy them as much as we did!
