I think in the almost 11 years that Michael and I have been married our bedroom has been the least decorated room in the house.  It's one of those things where I couldn't decide on the right decor or colors, Michael couldn't care less, and hardly anyone ever saw it, so it wasn't a necessity.
I did not want that to be the case anymore.  I wanted our room to reflect our style and still feel cozy and comfortable.
I wanted some sort of shelf above our with character.  So when Adam and Lily were shopping in Mobile and came across this one, I knew it was perfect!  It's part of an antique door frame made of teak wood and weighs about a million pounds.  It's hung with a french cleat, so I know it's not going to fall.  (Otherwise, I might have nightmares about it falling on our heads while we sleep!)
