MY HUSBAND IS QUITE THE PHOTOGRAPHER

There is a group of photographers that are doing a photo scavenger hunt from our church.  I haven't joined in on the fun, but Michael has been and I'm blown away by some of the photos he's taken.  I'm particularly fond of the tractor.  It was his great grandfather's and still runs.

It's really made me want to use our "nice" camera more instead of the iphone.  I know the pictures are not as great, but for some reason convenience usually rules out.

At least one of us is making use of the good one :)

CURRENTLY.

Woah.  I certainly didn't mean to go that long without blogging.
You know, sometimes life just gets so busy that this whole blogging thing has to take a back seat...even though it's something I love.
I've decided that we really know no other way to live life than to be busy.  Other than being 28 weeks pregnant, working full time, and trying my best to be a good mama and wife--we're totally remodeling half of our house.  Thankfully the demo is mostly done so hopefully less dust will be flying around settling in every nook and cranny possible!
Phase one--which was a new laundry room is complete!  We're so thankful for this space.
Now the upstairs is in full swing.  We're adding a bathroom and walls that will create two bedrooms there.  It already looks so different with just the framing up!
These green brick walls made my day!
Now if we can just make it without falling into a hole or two for the next few days :)

FAMILY BREAKFAST DATE

I love that most Saturday mornings hold no hard plans for us.  We usually get up around 8 ish, lie in bed after I've made a trip to the potty, and discuss what our day holds.  Today Anne woke up wanting to go to the donut shop.  We usually make a stop there about once a week before school, but only have time for the drive through.  She made it very clear she wanted to go inside!
This little girl has such a way of pulling our family together.  Had she not all but demanded this outing, we probably would not have all sat down together this whole day, since we had lots of other obligations going on.  I'm so thankful for her...and her crazy little outfits!  She just had to wear this hat...and I chose to choose my battles today :)
