Book Review: The Hunger Games

okay...maybe not such a great idea to start this book in the middle of all the chaos that's been happening lately, but I did.  BIG mistake, because once I started it I couldn't put it down!
It's just that good!
Here's a synopses of the book:
"Katniss is a 16-year-old girl living with her mother and younger sister in the poorest district of Panem, the remains of what used be the United States. Long ago the districts waged war on the Capitol and were defeated. As part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to send one boy and one girl to appear in an annual televised event called, "The Hunger Games." The terrain, rules, and level of audience participation may change but one thing is constant: kill or be killed. When Kat's sister is chosen by lottery, Kat steps up to go in her place."
It's has the perfect amount of adventure and
                                 romance for my taste.
I definitely recommend if you're looking for a good, quick read.

  1. i only am hearing good things about the book. i kinda need something to dive into life is crazy and its nice to escape sometimes in the form of a book!

  2. One of the best series I've ever read. If you're looking for something after, there is another series called The Maze Runner that is similar, but different enough to still capture interest. There are a few other books that are just as fantastic and along the same lines if you would like them! I'm such a bookworm, I honestly don't know what to do with myself if I don't have a decent novel to read
