Happy birthday, Anne!

Four years ago today, God blessed our family with the sweetest little baby, Anne Laurelin Trest.  She weighed in at a whopping 6lbs. 2 oz. and 19 inches long.  I'm pretty sure I had never held a baby so small.  At that moment our lives changed forever.  No longer was it all about us or what we wanted to do, but about her and helping this little girl grow up to be healthy and independent.  Time is such a strange thing to me.  In lots of ways it seem like just yesterday that she arrived, and on the other hand it seems like she's always been with us.  I'm so thankful that God gave you to us, sweet Anne!

She has definitely grown into an independent little girl.  She's a girl that knows what she wants :)  Now if we can just get her to want the right things!

xoxo, Dawn

  1. wow...i remember that day..I came to see you as you were hanging out and waiting on that sweet girl to arrive! I kept asking all these questions about labor and was so excited that you could tell me what to expect since I would deliver in the next 4 days! calmed my nerves so much! This blog makes me sad...and I love what you said about time...time is such a funny thing...I completely understand what you are you! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNE!
