It's almost impossible to get a picture of this guy lately that isn't blurry.  He's always on the move.  Today we were playing and teaching the puppy to fetch and Liam would do the sweetest things.  It became a chase to see if he could get to the toy before Pepper.  If he did, he'd run back and hand it to me so I could toss it again.  And sometimes he'd want to throw it.  He would swing his arms up and down and up and down until the lamb flew in any direction  all while he was giggling and laughing.  I almost died from the cuteness.

Then he came and gave me the sweetest kisses and hugs.
Heart melted.

I really do love being his mama.

Have you ever played?  It's this insanely silly board game that I just happen to love!  Tonight was our last small group meeting for this session so after we ate lots of yummy gumbo we played.  Basically you just draw cards and do things that are ridiculous and random...which creates hysterical laughing.  If you want to get a group and play, you won't be sorry!

It's really a blessing to have these people in my life.

Anne has asked for a dog since she was old enough to ask for anything, but we have always said no. Mostly because we lived in a very small apartment for a while, then I was pregnant, then we had a baby.  You know, life was constantly happening, so who had time to raise a puppy?!  Around Christmas time this year I started to cave though.  I was thinking of how grown up she is and I wanted her to experience having a puppy while she was still young. I promised her we would get one this summer since we would be home most of the time to train it.  Well, summer is here and a puppy we have!

Anne say's this has been the happiest day of her life.
She also told Pepper, "this is your new home, downtown.  Living the life."
 I couldn't help but giggle a little.

You'll be seeing lots of this around town.  I hope you'll stop us and say hi!

Liam also loves Pepper.  I'm just not sure how much Pepper loves him!

P.S. I've inherited a new computer from Michael, so hopefully there'll be a lot more blogging to come!  Yippee!!!

May Day is really my favorite thing we do here at St. John's, or at least in my top 3.  This year was extra special since I'm the 6th grade teacher (our graduating class for those of you that may not know.)
The theme this year was Magnolia Dreams which featured lots of music about Mississippi. The night was absolutely perfect, but I'll let the pictures do most of the talking.

6th grade always wraps the May Pole and I even got to help this year, since there were an odd number of students.
I'm really gonna miss these kiddos next school year.  I don't even want to think about it.

Anne's class was dressed as gangsters from the 20's and sang about the Mississippi River and "Mention my Name in Laurel."   It was just darling.
My two sweet boys watching the show.

I'm so thankful I get to call this "work."  I really do love this place.

The past few months have been busy to say the least...but one thing is true.  I have missed blogging so much.  I am making plans to get back in the groove.
My sister snapped some pictures of my little darlings last week and I thought I'd share a peek at them since you haven't seen them in a while.  Anne is growing into such a sweet little lady (7 now!!)  She is fun, energetic, kind, and helpful. I love being her mama and getting to be a part of her life.
Liam is now 15 months old!  He's into everything, which makes for lots of fun (and no rest) for us.  He really is so funny.  He's starting to mimic what we do and say some words.  It's such an exciting time--which is part of the reason for no blog posts.  I have been trying to focus all of my extra time on these guys.  They are growing so fast, and I literally want to soak up every moment I can with them.

I hope to be back soon with more posts, though.  I hope you all have a wonderful Monday!
